The Centenary of the Suffragette Derby

 

Having recently attended the unveiling of a plaque at Tattenham Corner

to commemorate Emily Davison’s martyrdom at Epsom,

I thought it appropriate to run the chapter covering the incident in my book –

The Derby Stakes – The Complete History – 1780-2006.
